MEMBERSHIP INTRODUCTION

Types of Membership

  • ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP:

    Associate membership to the association is open to the Faculties persons, Experienced in the field and Trade persons related to Operation Theatre & Anaesthesia.

  • STUDENT MEMBERSHIP:

    Student membership is open to all students who are full filling the criteria mentioned in the eligibility column.

  • LIFE MEMBERSHIP:

    Life membership is open to all who is full filling the criteria mentioned in the eligibility column.

Eligibility Criteria

  • For Life Membership:

    Membership is open to be all the trained Anaesthesia, CSSD,ICU, Operation theatre Assistants, Technicians & technologists OR Technical Executive (OT/ICU/ Anaesthesia) who have completed a course of minimum of two years Diploma in anaesthesia & Operation Theatre Technology or its equivalent from a government recognized hospital/ board/ institution/ Medical College/ Central University/ .Govt. Approved Private University/ State University/ Deemed University etc. (A candidate having diploma of 3 years after matriculation from any govt. paramedical board eg. Karnataka Paramedical Board are also eligible for membership)
    Criteria For Life Membership of candidates who are not holding any professional qualification:

    A person who has been working in state govt. hospitals/ central govt. hospitals/ Autonomous institutions as a regular govt. employee as an:
    • Operation Theater Assistant/ O. T Technician/ Sr. Technician OT
    • CSSD Assistant/ CSSD Technician/ Sr. Technician CSSD
    • Technical Assistant, Technical supervisor, Technical Officer posted in OT/ CSSD/ ICU without training shall also be eligible to become the member of the association. However, such application to membership shall only be accepted up to 31/03/2020 and thereafter no untrained Assistants or technicians or Sr. Technician or Technical Assistant or Technical supervisor or Technical Officer shall be eligible to become the members of the association.
    NOTE:- Such candidates has to enclose a Xerox copy of self attested ID card issued from their Govt. hospitals along with the application form.

  • For Student Members:

    After 10+2/ Intermediate with Science or its equivalent, a person who is studying Diploma or B.Sc. or PG Diploma or M.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology/ Anaesthesia Technology/ sterilization related technology (if any) or Anaesthesia & Operation Theatre Technology or Operation Theatre & Anaesthesia Technology from a government recognized hospital/ board/ institution/ Medical College/ Central University/Govt. Approved Private University/ State University/ Deemed University etc. are eligible to become a student member.
    NOTE:-
    1. Such candidates has to enclose a Xerox copy of their valid student id card attested by their HOD or any doctor of the institute with seal.
    2. Student members after completion of their student life can convert their student membership into Life membership, for this they will have to pay Life membership fee followed by monthly subscription. However such candidates shall be exempted from registration/ admission fee.

Membership & Registration Fee

  • The registration fee shall be Rs.100/- common for all the categories of members.
  • Life membership fee shall be Rs. 300/- only excluding registration fee (Life membership fee has been kept very low. In coming days it will be increased and will be applicable to the new comers only) Hence Candidate has to pay Rs.100/- Registration fee + Rs.300/- life membership fee= Total of Rs.400/- followed by Rs.20/- subscription fee from the next month onwards.
  • Subscription fee shall be Rs.20/- per month for life time members only and it shall be due from the next month of registration in the association.
    Subscription fee shall be accepted through cash (issue of an original receipt is mandatory by an authorized official) ; Account Payee Cheque or Direct online transfer to the Association Bank Account.
    NOTE:- In case of cash and cheque payment of subscription fee it shall be acceptable only for a period of minimum of three months and maximum of 12 months.
  • The Associate membership fee shall be Rs.500/- per year. Hence Candidate has to pay Rs.100/- Registration fee + Rs.500/- Associate membership fee= Total of Rs.600/- rupees followed by Rs.500/- rupees every year from the next year
  • Student membership fee shall be Rs.150/- per year. Hence Candidate has to pay Rs.100/- Registration fee + Rs.150/- Student membership fee= Total of Rs.250/- followed by Rs.150/- every year from the next year till the student life.
  • Issue of a duplicate identity card shall be Rs.250/-. In case of lost identity card a Xerox copy of FIR is mandatory along with an application requesting issue of duplicate identity card addressing to The Secretary General.
  • All fees must be paid by 31 of March of the financial year. Any fee once paid shall not be refundable.
  • All fees shall be accepted through demand draft or account payee cheque or cash in hand, or by electronic transfer to the scheduled bank account.
    NOTE:- Please write the proper UTR No. or IMPS No. and date in case of online money transfer to the association bank account (issue of original receipt is mandatory by an authorized official for cash in hand).
  • Donations in favor of AIAAOTT (All India association of Anaesthesia & Operation Theatre Technologist) shall be accepted through Account Payee Cheque; and Direct online transfer to the scheduled Association Bank Account.
